Our founders have previously started, built, and taken a company public (NASDAQ: PUBM), worth well over US$1B. We are looking to take our learnings, learn a lot along with you, and do something more exciting this time. This journey will be incredibly rewarding and incredibly difficult!

We are building this company with a hybrid working approach, with our main teams for time zone management in San Francisco Bay Area (United States) and in Pune (India). The founders are based in the Bay Area and in Bangalore.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager of Sales to be our first sales person and drive revenue growth. This is a unique opportunity to both drive sales and help build the sales function from the ground up. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong background in selling devtools SaaS solutions, who has some understanding of AI, and who can develop and execute a winning sales approach in a rapidly evolving market.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive revenue through winning sales deals for Bito’s Code Review Agent

Design and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to drive customer acquisition

Identify and target key industries and clients that would benefit from our AI Agents

Develop and execute plans to generate leads through various channels, including outbound efforts, partnerships, and marketing collaborations

Work with leadership to implement necessary sales processes, including CRM implementation, pipeline management, and reporting

Work closely with product, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure alignment and deliver exceptional value to customers

Stay up to date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to inform sales strategy

Qualifications:

6+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success in devtools sales, preferably within SaaS or AI

Strong interest to learn and understanding GenAI technologies, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

Ability to think strategically, identify market opportunities, and develop innovative solutions to meet customer needs

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, startup environment with a hands-on approach and a passion for innovation

Must have proven ability to consistently and collaboratively resolve issues, mitigate roadblocks, and meet all financial and management goals on time. Will be a self-starter who maps own direction to succeed

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate at all levels of an organization

Must be comfortable with ambiguity and fast change with an ability to adapt quickly and easily

Preferred candidates will some engineering background such as a bachelor’s degree in computer science and experience selling devtools
